NEW FAMILY MEMBER
So we have a new family member, and no, it is not our children from Haiti. We have a two week old Bulldog puppy. A couple of years ago, my wife bought a Bulldog while I was gone. This Bulldog, Lucy, became her little shadow and follows her everywhere. Well, we decided to get her bred to a great male named Edgar back in February. So come a couple of weeks ago we became the proud owners of two little Bulldog pups. We did this with the intention of selling them, of course my wife wanted to keep one, but since there was only two I said, "No Way, this is way to expensive of an endeavor to keep one". If you don't know, Bulldog pups sell for 1500 and up and normally the Bitches need C-Sections, which held true in our case. Unfortunately, Lucy didn't have enough milk and before we could figure it out, we lost one of the pups :( Since then, we have been bottle feeding this little pup every 3 hours. It has become our little baby, it really is ridiculous. Kristen has had baby fever, so I think this is helping that a little. Needless to say, after taking such care on this one little pup there is no way we are going to part with it. Not only do I think it is pretty cool, but my children would sacrifice me if I were to sell it and I don't even want to think of what Kristen would do. Hence, we have our third dog, a Bulldog named Lily. I will post some pictures of the little thing when I remember to bring my camera to work.

How sweet, but I can't imagine giving up the $1500! What a great father and husband you must be. :) Can't wait to see pictures. I was hoping this post was going to be you telling us you were out of IBESR. Any news at all?
Chad - You are such a softie! I can imagine this will help a lot in passing the time during this forever wait to bring the kiddos home. I might want you to talk my husband into letting me get a puppy!~Melissa (adopting Jean Delson)
Chad -
We have a toy poodle that gets the same kind of attention. We got him a shirt for when Jean comes home that says "I used to be the baby"...you may need one for your pup. This ride is crazy...one year ago today we got into IBESR. Jean Delson is 22 months next week! Here's praying we all hear news soon!
Chad -
I must be living in a time warp...Jean will be 3 in June, so he is 34 months! ~Melissa
Chad and Kristen! Holy moly...so happy you ran into my parents/contacted me! What's it been....like 3 years?! I'm coming to MT for a few weeks in August (I think) I'd love to hook up sometime. Anyway...wow! You guys sound busy. I'd love to call and get the low-down on the whole adoption process/how it came to be. That's amazing--you guys are the best people and those two sweet kids will be so lucky WHEN they get to go home with you. Sounds like a tough process. We'll keep you in our prayers! PS. I loved how Chad knew he couldn't get away with selling the pup due to Kristen's reaction. :-) Ha! PPS. The pic on your front page is gorgeous!
PPPS. Ok, in the Halloween pic is it Paris or Presley that looks like a Kristen Jr.? (Does she? I need to see more pics of your kids!) This is so fun to see little mini-me's of my friends now running around!
